A Brown Butter, Vanilla & Maple Latte Inspired by Verdi's La Traviata

Brown Butter Latte

The first crisp days of autumn inspire me to slow down and infuse a touch of elegance into my daily routine. This season, I'm savoring brown butter, a favorite of mine for its warm, toasted, and almost hazelnut-like scent, inspired by the opera La Traviata!

In this recipe, I combine brown butter with maple syrup, vanilla, and freshly brewed espresso to craft a comforting latte that boasts a rich flavor with a hint of sweetness. I relish the thought of enjoying this drink while listening to an opera recording, catching up on a good book, or simply taking a moment for myself.

And because life deserves a touch of drama, I'm giving this autumn favorite an operatic soundtrack. Play La Traviata when you make it!
