After a long road trip visiting colleges in Rhode Island, we decided to take a dinner break and treat ourselves to dinner. I was not really in the mood to get super dressed up, I just wanted a little something to hold me over. We came across Capt Louie Seafood in Providence, Rhode Island! 🌊🌴From what I understand, this is a franchise, but independently owned. That being said, I still appreciated the customer service.
Capt Louie Seafood offers a wonderful quaint atmosphere. There were several people who were out on a group date and a few regular dates. The restaurant is a hidden gem tucked away in the heart of downtown Providence. From the moment I stepped in, the cozy ambiance and friendly staff made me feel right at home.
But let's talk about the food – oh my, the seafood here is out of this world! Every bite was a burst of flavor and freshness. My lobster boil was delish, served with corn and potatoes. Capt Louie Seafood knows how to satisfy any seafood lover's cravings.
The menu offers their signature seafood boil, including traditional New England classics and innovative creations that will leave you wanting more. Don't forget to try their famous clam chowder – creamy, hearty, and oh-so-delicious!
And the best part? As far as I know, Capt Louie Seafood sources its ingredients locally, ensuring the highest quality and supporting local fishermen. It's a win-win!
